Funkdoobiest Talent Bio:
Funkdoobiest is a famous Californian rap group whose original members are Son Doobie (Jason Vasquez), DJ Ralph M (Ralph Medrano), and Tomahawk Funk (Tyrone Pacheco). The trio made their debut in 1993 with the album Which Doobie U B?. and it included the hit Bow Wow Wow. The group`s next album Brothas Doobie released in May 1995 contains the controversial song Superhoes. It also features the songs Rock On, What the Deal and Lost In Thought. Soon after the release of this album Tomahawk Funk left the group and later on embarked on a solo career, releasing the Doobie Deluxe in 2004. In 1998 the Funkdoobiest released their third album entitled The Troubleshooters and unlike the previous albums that has explicit sexual content, it focuses on themes such as race and Latin heritage. The group`s next album The Golden B-Boys is to be released at the beginning of 2009.
