Eileen Davidson Talent Bio:
Eileen Davidson is an American actress, former model, author, and reality TV star on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She is also well known for her roles in soap operas such as NBC’s Days of Our Lives, CBS’s The Young and the Restless, and The Bold and the Beautiful. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Davidson had a role in the classic film The House on Sorority Row and had a leading role in CBS’ Broken Badges. She has also written several mystery novels.Eileen was born in Artesia, California. She started modeling at the age of 21 in Mexico City and California. Then she began to do commercials and print modeling in Europe. Her agent at the time suggested that she take acting classes to get work as an actress, but she was so good at it that they just decided to send her out to auditions for acting roles. Her debut role was as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless, she beat out over 100 candidates who auditioned for the role. In 1988 she quit the show. She began her lead role on Broken Badges in 1990, but the show was canceled a year Banks (a Kristen look alike), Sister Mary Moira, Thomas, and Penelope. Her five different roles earned her a Daytime Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in 1998. She eventually returned to The Young and the Restless as her role Ashley Abbott. She received a second Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress. Her role ended in 2007 when she was fired from the show. Months later she signed 3 year contract with The Bold and Beautiful a sister soap of The Young and Restless. She continued on her role as Ashley Abbott
In 2008 Eileen co-wrote her very first novel Death in Daytime, with author Robert J. Randisi. She wrote three sequels, Dial Emmy for Murder released in 2009, Diva Las Vegas released in 2010, and Swinging in the Rain released in 2011. She then returned to The Young and Restless as Ashley. In 2012 Sony Pictures Entertainment wanted Eileen on The Young and Restless and on Days of Our Live, but Young and the Restless refused and did not want to share her. This lead to Sony terminating their contract with Davidson and she returned to Days of Our Lives as Kristen Blake Dimera. In 2013 she made an appearance on The Young and the Restless for its 40th anniversary. In 2014 she won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
