DJ Snake Talent Bio:
William Grigahcine is a French DJ known for his name DJ Snake. In 2011 DJ Snake produced Lady Gaga’s album “Born This Way” on Interscope Records. This album was nominated for a Grammy award for Album of the Year in 2012. “Government Hooker”, a track on the album was nominated for best song by her fans upon the release.He debuted on the International scene with a hit called “Bird Machine” that was picked up by Mad Decent, a record label spearheaded by Diplo. In the beginning of 2013 a great offer was presented to Snake to do a live mix on his radio show called Diplo & Friends which aired on BBC Radio 1. Kanye West’s “New Slaves” track was remixed by DJ Snake along with Lazer’s “Bubbles Butt”, Duck Sauces “Its You” and AlunaGeorge’s “You Know I like It”. He also remixed a song by Junior Senior called “Move Your Feet” in 2013. The same year also marked another great avenue of work for the DJ, producing three tracks on Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP album titled, “Applause”, “Do What You Want” and “Sexxx Dreams”. On the Skrillex 2014 Mothership Tour DJ Snake was one of the supporting alternative artists alongside Dillon Francis. In the same year he also released a video for the AlunaGeorge “You Know I like It” track.
The DJ Snakes hit “Turn Down For What” released on Columbia Records scored mass appeal entering on the Billboards Dance/Electric chart as a top hit. It also debuted at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100. February 2014 “Turn Down for What” was certified gold and shortly after rose to platinum in March of 2014. The song eventually entered the Billboards Hot 100 at top 10, April 2014.
