Born December 21st 1975 in Anklam, Germany, Steffen Berkhahn better known by his stage name Dixon, is a German DJ and music producer. His unique spinning style entertains music goers all over the planet, while he specializes in the genres of house, deep house, tech house, techno, and many more. Dixon has cast himself into the spotlight on his way to becoming one of the top DJs in the world, and was voted #1 in the Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJ Poll in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. He has cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers over the years, including over 300 thousand likes on his Facebook page. His emphatic DJ sets bring in the masses, while the video of his “Dixon Boiler Room Dekmantel IR DJ Set” has racked up over 500 thousand views on YouTube. In January of 2017 it was announced that Dixon was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2017 in Southern California.Since first breaking out on to the music scene in 1991, Dixon has released a total of 9 mixes/compilation albums, and 4 EPs which are adored by his fans and music critics alike. His visionary remixes bring life to his one of a kind sets, while also showcasing the extraordinary talent of the Berlin based DJ. It seems that the sky is the limit for the skyrocketing success of Dixon, as his popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
