Deorro Talent Bio:
Born August 30th 1991 in Los Angeles, California, Erick Orrosquetia is a Mexican American songwriter, record producer, and DJ better known by his stage name Deorro. He has remixed tracks from some of the most recognizable names in the DJ world, including Laidback Luke, Gareth Emery, and Steve Aoki. He specializes in many genres, such as Dutch house, electro house, progressive house, trap, and Melbourne bounce.Deorro began his DJ career at the age of 14 under the name Tox!c, playing local gigs around town inside the Los Angeles area. After beginning to produce his own tracks by the age of 17 he began to gain some recognition in the industry. He was asked by DJ Chuckie to remix one of his tracks entitled “Make Some Noise”, which landed Deorro in the top 50 tracks on Beatport, a very popular music platform. He has since released many singles hitting the charts in various countries. In 2013 he released his single “Yee” under Hardwell’s label Revealed Recordings, which made the charts in Germany, France, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Belgium.
In 2014 was when Deorro began to release a flurry of hit singles while collaborating with some very heavy hitters in the EDM industry. Some of the tracks include “Freak” created with Diplo and Steve Aoki, “Flashlight” with R3hab, and a track of his own called “Five Hours”, which charted in Germany, France, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, and Belgium. Later that year he announced via Twitter that he would be taking a hiatus from spinning to focus on his record label called Panda Funk, which has achieved much success since. In 2015 he has played multiple festivals including Electric Zoo, Tomorrowland, Global Dance Festival, and Nocturnal just to name a few. He has released many singles in 2015 including “Five More Hours” featuring Chris Brown, the third version of the track. His fans and all of the EDM world is waiting on the edge of their seats to see what Deorro does next.
