Originally formed in 2011 in New York City, New York, Banks & Steelz is an American music duo that is currently signed to Warner Brothers Records. The super-duo consists of rapper Rza (Wu-Tang Clan) and singer/frontman Paul Banks (Interpol), who collaborate to create a one of a kind musical sound. Banks & Steelz specialize in a variety of musical styles, while delivering a fresh new delivery to the hip hop game. The unique blend of styles leaves die-hard fans of both artists in awe, as their hard-hitting vocals and production present a deep look into the creative minds of two international music icons. In January of 2017 it was announced that Banks & Steelz was one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2017 in Southern California.Banks & Steelz first began recording their first full length studio album titled “Anything but Words” in 2013, which was released in August of 2016. The unique collaboration of popular but vastly different artists, leaves their many fans at the edge of their seat, anticipating their latest release. The massive followings of Wu-Tang Clan and Interpol pack out venues for this unique side project, bolstering the duo’s support tenfold. Banks & Steelz is currently bringing their hard-hitting sets to audiences all over the world, as they just announced dates for the group’s first tour dates. It seems that the sky is the limit for the duo’s success, as their popularity and fan base continue to rapidly grow exponentially larger by the day.
