Formed in 2010 in London, England, AlunaGeorge is an English electronic music duo that is currently signed to Interscope Records. The group consists of member Aluna Francis and George Reid, and they specialize in a variety of musical genres such as trip hop, electronica, synthpop, UK garage, and R&B. They have cultivated a large group of very loyal fans and followers including over 265 thousand likes on their Facebook page, over 100 thousand followers on their Instagram page, over 90 thousand followers on their Twitter feed, over 5 million listeners on their SoundCloud account, and their music videos have been viewed millions of times online, including the video for their hit song “You Know You Like It” which has individually racked up over 7 million views on YouTube. In January of 2016 it was announced that they were one of the acts chosen to perform at the very popular and massive music festival Coachella 2016 in Southern California.Since breaking out on to the music scene in 2010, AlunaGeorge has released 1 full length studio album, 1 remix album, 1 extended play, and a large catalogue of singles, which have been highly appreciated by fans and critics all over the world. Their debut full length studio album titled “Body Music” made a huge splash as it reached #2 on the US Heat Album Chart, #11 on the UK Album Chart, #33 on the Scotland Album Chart, and #43 on the Belgium and Ireland Album Charts, while reaching the top 100 in 5 other countries. They are a music group on the immediate rise into the electronic music spotlight, as their popularity and fan base continues to rapidly grow larger by the day.
