A Thousand Horses Talent Bio:
A Thousand Horses is a Southern rock-country group comprised of Michael Hobby, Bill Satcher, Zach Brown and Graham Deloach. Formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2010, the band wasted no time and moved into a house together, so they could begin writing and rehearsing non-stop. It paid off, as they released their debut album in August of the same year, A Thousand Horses. They have cultivated a large group of loyal fans and followers including over 41 thousand page likes on Facebook, and their music videos have been viewed millions of times online including the single “Smoke”, which has individually surpassed 11 million views on YouTube. They soon caught the eye of record producer, Dave Cobb, who, during the band’s start-up years, worked without pay. Others quickly followed Cobb’s admiration of Horse’s sound and the group received a request to put a song “Suicide Eyes”, on the remake of the 1984 film, Footloose.Horses released their second album, “Southernality” under Republic Nashville in June of 2015. This proved to be a pivotal moment for the band, and made their television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and received a write-up by the infamous, Rolling Stone Country. Their first single “Smoke” reached Number One on Country Airplay and made them the first country group to chart a Number One debut single since the Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried” in 2008. They have over 40,000 Facebook fans and have even made some famous friends among, Darius Rucker and Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes. In 2016, they will be joining country music all-star, Jason Aldean, for his We Are Here tour. While this past year has brought many tremendous milestones, through it all, the band stays true to their identity and vision. Their popularity continues to grow by the day, as A Thousand Horses is quickly becoming a household name in the country music industry.
