3LAU Talent Bio:
Born January 9th 1991 in Syosset, New York, Justin Davis Blau is an American progressive house and electro house producer, DJ, and Abelton performer better known by his stage name 3LAU. He has performed at some of the largest EDM events and festivals such as EDC in Las Vegas and Electric Zoo in New York. The Las Vegas Review-Journal has referred to him as “One of America’s fastest rising DJ-Producers.” He possesses the potential to keep a new-generational young demographic entertained for many years to come. He has released multiple singles and albums and is on a fast track to become one of the biggest names in the industry.Growing up in and artistic family in New York, 3LAU started singing and playing guitar and piano at a very young age. At the age of 13, his family relocated to Las Vegas where he spent the rest of his teenage years. After spending his high school years at The Meadows School, he attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. While vacationing in Sweden in 2011 he discovered EDM, and then returned to school and began making mashups because he “Didn’t think anyone was doing a good job.” That same year he began uploading his remixes and mashups to YouTube and caught the eye of many people within the EDM world.
3LAU has won remix competitions and has had multiple tracks featured in the Top 10 charts on Hype Machine and Beatport. He has gone on multiple tours including the Night Riot Tour alongside DJ Carnage, and the 3LAU Your Mind Tour which he launched in 2012. He has self-released 5 albums in 4 years, while also releasing multiple singles and remixes in the process. As a rising star in the EDM world, his fans and the general public are waiting to see what he does next.
